NORD HOF

After the successful completion of the new-build project “Kastanienhof” in Hilden’s town centre at the end of 2016, in 2019 we once again put our trust in the charm and appeal of the Itter town. Thanks to its easy accessibility by car and public transport, its unique flair and its existing retail offering, Hilden’s town centre is – according to a recent survey by the Cologne Institute for Retail Research (IFH) – “one of the most attractive town centres in Germany”.

In keeping with the “Kastanienhof”, the planned new build on Hochdahler Straße was likewise given classic-contemporary architecture with clear forms. The corner building was constructed in an L-shape with three full storeys and a set-back top storey, so that a sunny, south-west-facing inner courtyard was created within it as an open-air area for communal use.

The building comprises modern, bright 2- to 3-room apartments, each with a balcony or terrace facing the courtyard, all accessible via three staircases with a lift. In total, this created a combined living area of around 2,400 square metres close to the town forest.
