Since 1878, Tecklenburg has stood for responsible construction on the Lower Rhine. What began as a craft business is today a modern construction company with comprehensive expertise in project development and as general contractor and general developer-contractor.
Our roots lie in the region, our ambition looks ahead. Since 2025 we have been part of the Geiger Group, combining the personal closeness and reliability of a regional company with the capability, wide-ranging expertise and economic strength of a strong group of companies.

Gerhard Tecklenburg lays the foundation for today's construction company on Lingsforter Strasse – still the company's headquarters today.
1908–1978

In family hands, Tecklenburg grows into an established medium-sized construction company on the Lower Rhine.

The company celebrates its 100th anniversary – tradition meets new beginnings.

145 years of Tecklenburg
The company looks back on 145 years of building history on the Lower Rhine – from craft business to modern construction company.

Entry into structural timber construction
Tecklenburg expands its range of services to include timber system construction: prefabricated timber buildings, produced in the plant and assembled on site.
