Tecklenburg GmbH has been planning and building kindergartens and day-care centres for many years. From the early 1990s to the present day, we have created around 50 facilities in cooperation with various operators and municipalities throughout North Rhine-Westphalia.

Day-care centres are thus a speciality of Tecklenburg GmbH. From planning through to the implementation and completion of the entire building, everything remains in one hand. This also applies to the intensive coordination process beforehand. Here, the wishes and requirements of the youth welfare offices as well as those of the regional association and the respective operators are aligned and successfully brought under one roof.

The aim is always to create and implement individual solutions with the extensive know-how accumulated over the years. In this way, over the past years we have again and again succeeded in harmoniously integrating day-care centres into existing urban structures, thereby creating a beautiful, attractive „home“ for the children.

The Catholic parish „St. Margareta“ expressed its long-cherished wish early on to replace the ageing kindergarten building with a modern new construction. Since Tecklenburg had already realised many projects with other Catholic parishes at the Düsseldorf location, we were approached as an experienced property developer to plan the desired new building.

In the new four-group day-care centre, around 45 children of different ages have been given a kindergarten place. The layout of the day-care centre extends over two floors, which are fully accessible via a lift and thus enable barrier-free movement. Two groups are accommodated on each of the ground floor and the first upper floor. Each group room covers approx. 46 m² with its own sleeping and ancillary rooms. Unlike the previous concept of the two-group kindergarten, the new building concept included a special care offering for children under three years of age. The children can also look forward to an interestingly designed outdoor area with lots of play equipment.

The kindergarten's energy supply is provided by air-source heat pumps.
