In the “Auf dem Zanger” building area, the Tecklenburg company is constructing 42 semi-detached houses and one apartment building. The Tecklenburg company has carried out the symbolic groundbreaking ceremony in the St. Hubert building area “Auf dem Zanger”. Low interest rates are leading to more and more interested parties who want to build their own four walls. Demand is high, emphasises Stephany Quarte, who manages the project for Tecklenburg. Depending on the plot size, the houses have a living area of between 128 and 133 square metres. In addition, each house gets a cellar of about 56 square metres. Despite the property developer model, architect Uwe Schulz assured that in St. Hubert Tecklenburg “does not build off-the-peg houses”. The company definitely responds to the individual wishes of the customers. However, this then has an effect on the price, as Quarte confirmed when asked. The semi-detached houses are to be sold at prices between 380,000 and 450,000 euros. On behalf of the town of Kempen, the technical councillor Marcus Beyer put the spade into the ground. He emphasised the good cooperation with the Tecklenburg company. “The town of Kempen is also glad that things are now getting underway.” The town of Kempen has also felt the great interest in building land for many years. In the “Auf dem Zanger” area, according to the councillor, the town has 30 plots for single-family and semi-detached houses. Back to the Tecklenburg company: the second construction phase with 18 semi-detached houses is to be started in summer and completed in spring 2020. This will be followed by eight semi-detached houses and the apartment building with about 20 condominiums (completion summer 2021) and a further ten semi-detached houses, which are to be handed over to the owners in autumn 2020.
