The new residential quarter on the street „Auf dem Zanger“ in St. Hubert is growing daily. Under the project name „Himmelblau“, Tecklenburg is building a total of 42 semi-detached houses and one apartment building here in six construction phases.
The first groundbreaking ceremony took place on 17 April, on 9 August the first construction phase with six semi-detached houses celebrated its topping-out ceremony, and already at Christmas the first families are moving into their new home here. And at the same time, work is already being carried out on the walls of the second and third phases, each with eight and ten semi-detached houses respectively. The construction time in each case is around ten months. By February 2021 at the latest, the last houses of the sixth phase are to be handed over and the project thus completed. The town also has around 35 plots in this development area, which are currently going into allocation.
Those who lend a hand themselves lower the costs
The well-thought-out floor plans of the houses in the „Himmelblau“ project, with 128 to 133 square metres of living space, are spread over five bright rooms. In addition, there is a cellar of 56 square metres. The one-and-a-half-storey semi-detached houses have a spacious living and kitchen area on the ground floor. The upper floors offer retreat spaces and a cleverly designed bathroom. Underfloor heating, electric roller shutters and level-access showers are standard, and a generous terrace opens up the view of the garden. The size of the plots varies between 250 and 350 square metres. Depending on their size, the houses are offered at prices between 380,000 and 450,000 euros. „A large part of the houses of the first and second construction phases are already sold or reserved“, reports Stephany Quarte, sales manager at Tecklenburg and responsible for „Himmelblau“ in St. Hubert. And she points to a special offer in the third construction phase: „Here we have deliberately left out some trades on half of the houses in order to offer this possibility to those interested parties who are skilled with their hands and would like to take part in the fitting-out.“ Anyone who lends a hand themselves naturally lowers the purchase price. „But anyone who wants the ‚all inclusive‘ package will also find what they are looking for with us“, says Stephany Quarte.
