In recent years, the town of Moers has developed into a very popular and attractive residential location for many people from a wide range of age groups. Above all, Moers benefits on the one hand from its geographically well-connected location, which is reflected in its proximity to the metropolises of Düsseldorf, Duisburg and Essen, and on the other hand from a positive population trend. The Tecklenburg company recognised this development early on and has already invested in the recent past in successful projects such as the "Blickfang" on Filderstraße and "live green – Living at the Schlosspark". Now, with the latest project, the previous commitment of the Tecklenburg company in Moers is being expanded once again. According to current planning, three apartment buildings with rental and owner-occupied apartments, single-family houses as semi-detached houses and terraced houses, five bungalows, a detached single-family house as well as a four-group day-care centre will be created in the new "Teutonenstraße" quarter on a total area of approx. 22,000 square metres. The town of Moers lies on the Lower Rhine, at the western edge of the Ruhr area, and with approx. 105,000 inhabitants is the largest town in the district of Wesel. Moers offers young families and single working people in particular the opportunity to combine both town and country living with one another. This is favoured above all by the transport connections. The A57, A42 and A40 motorways can be reached within a few minutes. Public transport is also ensured by a rail connection to the north and to the south. As a result, towns such as Krefeld, Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Essen or also popular Dutch destinations such as Venlo and Nijmegen can be reached comfortably. Also worth highlighting is the central location of the project area, the walking-distance accessibility of important infrastructure in the immediate vicinity as well as the proximity to the Moers Schlosspark. After the building permit has been granted, construction is expected to start in the first quarter of 2019; completion is then planned from the fourth quarter of the same calendar year.
