Our construction site tour took place on 30.09.22. The aim of the trip was to present our company's projects to our colleagues, who work predominantly in the office. We travelled by coach to two current and two completed construction sites.
The first construction site we visited was the district police authority in Bergheim. Our site management guided us, in three groups, through the future police headquarters. As the shell construction had already been completed, we were able to inspect the progress of the interior fit-out on the 3rd and 2nd floors. Particularly impressive was the view through the glass façade from the top floor.
We made our second stop in Düsseldorf on Heyestraße. Next to the hotel “the niu Seven”, 2 apartment buildings together with a day-care centre in the central section as well as 15 terraced houses have been built. The project adjoins the Glasmacherviertel, where numerous homes are set to be built over the coming years.
After Heyestraße, the coach travelled to our largest construction site to date, the “Wallhöfe” in Ratingen. The “Wallhöfe”, currently in the fit-out phase, comprise 67 apartments with a total area of 5,550 m². A boulevard including an underground car park is being created on the lower floors. The entire commercial space covers 7,200 m². Future tenants of these spaces include EDEKA, Aldi Süd and Woolworth.
The final stop of the construction site tour was Teutonenstraße in Moers. Here, over the past years, we have created a lively residential quarter combining apartment buildings, semi-detached houses, bungalows and single-family homes. The adjoining day-care centre was also built by Tecklenburg. After a spectacular manoeuvre by the coach driver, we set off on the journey home.
Following the construction site tour, we rounded off the evening at Beterams in Straelen with a delicious meal and drinks.
