Tecklenburg construction company from Straelen had organised the campaign at the Moers Christmas market.
The Tecklenburg construction company has now handed over a donation of 720 euros to the Bethanien children's hospital. The company from Straelen had carried out a fundraising campaign at the Moers Christmas market in aid of the hospital clowns working at the Bethanien. “We have been operating as a business in Moers for many years and would like to give something back to the town,” said sales director Sandra von Lobenstein during her visit to the children's hospital. Tecklenburg is currently realising the Live Green Houses construction project on Kaiserstraße in Moers-Vinn. “We are building fifty modern houses, especially for families with children,” said Sandra von Lobenstein about Tecklenburg's current involvement in Moers.
During the fundraising campaign at the Christmas market, the company had handed out drinks for one euro each in aid of the hospital clowns; managing director Hermann Tecklenburg then doubled the proceeds. The hospital clowns were also on site and had handed out clown noses to the people of Moers at the Christmas market. At the handover of the donation at the children's hospital, there was now a reunion with the two lady clowns Iris Held alias clown Stift and Inga Borgschulte alias clown Wilma. On behalf of the association Clownsvisite e.V., both visit the sick children at the Bethanien every week.
“We are very pleased about the support of our work at the Moers children's hospital by the Tecklenburg company,” the two clowns said in thanks upon receiving the large donation cheque. “The generosity of companies from the region helps to secure the financing of our visits to the sick children at the Bethanien for the coming weeks and months,” the hospital clowns said.
