The Tecklenburg company has two major projects to realise in Ratingen and Bergheim. In 2021 and 2022, around 140 million euros will be generated.
Our new projects in Ratingen, called "Wallhöfe", and the police building in Bergheim guarantee our employees full employment for the coming 24 months. In total, we will generate around 140 million euros in turnover in the years 2021 and 2022.
The award of the contract for the district police authority in Bergheim makes me particularly proud above all, because the competition was enormous due to the Europe-wide tender and securing the contract was a great challenge.
Here and now I would like to mention three employees who more than earned their credit in landing the 58-million-euro contract. Isabel Ströcker, Dieter Gust and Dieter Kreuzer are outstanding employees and true Tecklenburg people. Isabel Ströcker has been employed with us for 20 years as an in-house lawyer and was responsible for drafting the contract.
Dieter Kreuzer has been our chief estimator for more than three decades and is a genius in his field.
Dieter Gust is a true full-blooded Straelen native; his commercial skill and his instinct for presenting convincing arguments at the right moment make him indispensable to our company.
The laying of the foundation stone for the new police building in Bergheim is scheduled for March 2021. The rental area amounts to 12,500 square metres. This offers space for 430 employees. The latest police technology will be installed. Among other things, there is an e-charging station for official vehicles. The canteen with outdoor area is also freely accessible to citizens.
