Rathausquartier in Kamp-Lintfort

In the young university town on Markgrafenstraße, the Tecklenburg company has completed a new construction project. The apartments will be occupied before Christmas.

Recently, Tecklenburg GmbH completed its current construction project in Kamp-Lintfort. The plot forms the centrepiece of the new Rathausquartier and is located right in the centre on Markgrafenstraße.

In reference to the address, the names of the buildings come from two well-known margraves. But not only KARL & LEO and Kamp-Lintfort share the same initials: K&L.

The property consists of two building structures and is divided as follows: The KARL building, with four storeys plus a set-back top storey and 24 residential units, has two building entrances as well as two stairwells with a lift. The LEO building, with three storeys and twelve residential units, has, just like the KARL building, two building entrances with two stairwells and a lift. A total of 36 apartments with sizes ranging from 45 square metres to around 106 square metres have been created.

KARL and LEO have style: The barrier-free apartments are handed over turnkey and are equipped, among other things, with real wood parquet, tiles in 60 by 30 centimetre format, underfloor heating, electric roller shutters, level-access showers and video intercom systems – chic and functional!

But the young university town of Kamp-Lintfort, with over 7,000 students at the Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences, has a lot to offer for all generations: The most nationally renowned highlight is the Cistercian Kamp Monastery, founded in 1123, with its Baroque terraced garden. The district of Kamp is one of ten city districts and, with its historic settlement from the heyday of the monastery, forms the historic centre of the town. Fans of industrial heritage get their money's worth with the old settlement „Friedrich-Heinrich“.

The pedestrian zone with all shopping facilities as well as the Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences are only a few minutes' walk away. Numerous sports and leisure facilities such as the Panoramabad Pappelsee outdoor pool, the golf club „Am Kloster Kamp“ as well as various cycling, hiking and riding trails offer plenty of rest and relaxation.

After sales began in early summer 2020, all 36 residential units quickly found new owners by the summer of 2021. All buyers look forward to an urban and high-quality building in the centre of Kamp-Lintfort.

Thus, after less than 17 months of construction, all 36 owners will move into their apartments before Christmas 2021. The first handovers for the LEO building already began in October.
