Julia Zoll and Kai Vogt are on holiday in Mexico. They have no idea yet that only a few days later they will come across what will probably be their most beautiful destination – on the internet. While the young couple is exploring the country and its people on the other side of the world, the planned construction project on Teutonenstraße in Moers goes online. "It was always clear to us that if we build or buy something, then in Moers," they say. "When we came across the project on the internet by chance, we really didn't believe it at first and were totally surprised that we could find something like this in the middle of Moers," say Julia Zoll and Kai Vogt. From the street, you can't see the huge plot, because it borders the neighbours' gardens all around. "A green island in the middle of the city," the two are delighted. Decisive and without hesitation, they said yes to their new home in the quiet residential quarter. Buying a property is the best investment in the future – on this point, the young buyers in particular in the residential quarter are agreed. Paying rent until retirement age is something no one here wants. "The location is top," says Kai Vogt.
"MOERS FITS PERFECTLY, THIS IS WHERE OUR FRIENDS ARE, A GREAT OLD TOWN, OUR FITNESS CENTRE, AND WE DON'T HAVE FAR TO GO TO WORK EITHER…" Shopping can be done on foot, and for retail therapy you don't even have to travel all the way to Düsseldorf or Duisburg. In Moers there are plenty of pretty shops, restaurants and an enchanting castle park. "Moers fits perfectly, this is where our friends are, a great old town, our fitness centre, and we don't have far to go to the office for work either; on top of that, I was even born in the Bethanien Hospital in Moers," says a delighted Kai Vogt, who works professionally as branch manager of an insurance agency. Kai Vogt brings his drone to the interview appointment; technical devices are his passion. With his flying camera, he wants to film the construction progress from above and not miss a thing. from the earthy building ground to moving in. "We're both not very good with our hands," Julia Zoll recounts, laughing, not without lovingly glancing over at her boyfriend, "which is why the topic of turnkey construction is super practical for us and exactly what we were looking for and finally found." A young couple on the way to their residential bliss. "But we've already picked out a kitchen," says Kai Vogt, smiling, "white and grey with a dark worktop." You can vividly imagine little spontaneous parties being celebrated in the kitchen when football fan Kai Vogt reaches for his phone and invites his neighbours over to watch the Champions League match, while outside on the terrace the new Beefer prepares excellent steaks at 800 degrees in four minutes. The two have given thought to the design of the garden. They want a cool terrace with lounge furniture, a chic garden house and a beautiful green lawn over which the robotic mower quietly rolls. A smart home – that could generally become a topic in this house. "It's great, isn't it: you come home after a long day and everything is vacuumed, the lighting is right, the blinds adjust to the weather and the time" – the prospective homeowner Kai Vogt is tech-savvy and already fully in his element.
