KARL & LEO – the newcomers in Kamp-Lintfort

The plot on which Tecklenburg GmbH will build in Kamp-Lintfort forms the centrepiece of the new Rathausquartier and is located in the centre on Markgrafenstraße. The pedestrian zone with all shopping facilities as well as the RheinWaal University are just a few minutes’ walk away. In keeping with the address, the names of the buildings derive from two well-known margraves. But not only that: KARL & LEO as well as Kamp-Lintfort share the same initials: K & L. With around 38,000 inhabitants, Kamp-Lintfort is a medium-sized town within the district and belongs to the district of Wesel. Six kilometres from Rheinberg and eight kilometres from Moers, Kamp-Lintfort is optimally connected to the Ruhr region and the Dutch border regions via the A40, A42 and A57 motorways. The young university town with over 2000 students at the Rhein-Waal University has a lot to offer for all generations: its best-known highlight beyond the region is the Cistercian monastery Kamp, founded in 1123, with its baroque terraced garden. The district is one of ten town districts and, with its settlement dating from the heyday of the monastery, forms the historical centre of the town. Fans of industrial heritage will get their money’s worth with the old „Friedrich-Heinrich“ settlement. Numerous sports and leisure facilities such as the Pappelsee panorama pool, the „Am Kloster Kamp“ golf club as well as various cycling, hiking and riding trails offer recreation and relaxation. In 2020, the town of Kamp-Lintfort will host the State Garden Show. And now to KARL & LEO: the property consists of two building volumes and is divided as follows: the KARL building with four storeys and a set-back top floor has two building entrances as well as two stairwells with a lift. The LEO building with three storeys, just like the KARL building, has two building entrances with two stairwells and a lift. A total of 36 apartments are being created with apartment sizes between 45 square metres and around 102 square metres. KARL and LEO have style: the barrier-free apartments are handed over turnkey and are fitted, among other things, with real wood parquet, tiles in 60 by 30 centimetre format, underfloor heating, electric roller shutters, level-access showers and video intercom systems – chic and functional!
