Laying of the foundation stone for a new self-service store and medical centre in the “Gurkenland” on 12 May 2016 – Tecklenburg invests approx. €5 million. Now it is finally visible too! The previous self-service store, which had not been in operation for years, has already been demolished. Work on the new Netto store begins immediately. Completion is planned for the end of 2016. Then all residents of the Eller district will have the opportunity to shop in the new self-service store of around 800 m². In total the store has a size of around 1,200 m². From 1 July, demolition work begins on the old medical centre. During the construction period, the joint practice Dr. Weinstein / Dr. Jäschke will move into prepared containers, in order to move back into new practice rooms after completion of the medical centre. Completion of the new medical centre is planned for the first quarter of 2017. On the ground floor and on the 2nd upper floor of the new building, 180 m² of practice or pharmacy space each is still available. Interested doctors, pharmacies or companies related to the topic of “health” can apply to the Tecklenburg company, Straelen. The project development for the new centre in the “Gurkenland” was carried out by Tecklenburg GmbH together with Nils Obermann, ON Real Estate GmbH. Tecklenburg GmbH is currently investing around €5 million in the location. Overall, the new centre will lead to a significant upgrade of the entire area and, of course, to shorter distances for residents. The laying of the foundation stone for the new centre took place on 12 May 2016. District mayor Mr Gerwald van Leyen, who campaigned for the realization of the project, will be especially pleased about this.
